Looks like Nokia is preparing to launch its first Android phone, “Nokia X” at Mobile World Congress next week. The company has already started sending out invitations to a webcast for the launch with a teaser image.
Over its official blog Conversations, Nokia has announced its MWC 2014 schedule, which is set for 24th Feb 2014, 8 30 AM, the first day at Barcelona. What is interesting is the image which Nokia shared over the post. The imgae shows four black arrows all pointing to one location to form a Green X. Which matches with coloring found on a leaked marketing render of the Nokia X.
The smartphone is supposed to have a 4 inch WVGA screen, 1 GHz dual core snapdragon processors with 512 MB RAM, 5 MP camera,
4 GB internal memory and a 1500 mAh battery
As previously reported, Nokia X is expected to run a “forked” version of Andriod and come with its own Nokia Store, and suite of Microsoft and Nokia apps. Nokia is expected to unveil the rumored Android handset on February 24th at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
